Effects

In the G-code Sculptor, effects (modulators) reshape the circular cross-section as it is swept up the model. They add surface textures, ripples, bumps, cutouts, and structural details—anything that changes the printed shell beyond the raw profile curve.

What effects do

The Effects tab in the left dock is where you stack modulators and, separately, apply transforms (twist, bend, taper, stretch) that operate on the whole form. Cutout-style effects remove extrusion where the pattern demands— the nozzle travels without depositing material (for example Hole Grid, Voronoi Cutout).

Below this overview, the documentation lists every effect in groups that match the in-app picker (for example Shapes, Pattern texture, ripples, caps, and cutouts).
