Tutorial 8: Voronoi Light Screen

Turn a rectangle boundary into a Voronoi-celled Region with through-holes, then Extrude a thin slab: a perforated screen for a lamp, vent, or decorative panel (popular Grasshopper + Voronoi pattern).

Step 1: Region and thickness

Step 1

Rectangle → Voronoi 2D → Extrude

Print Bed center → Rectangle center; size the rectangle to the panel. Path out → Voronoi 2D boundary. Set site count and wall thickness. Region out → Extrude; set distance to the slab thickness. Extrude mesh → Output Preview mesh.

Outcome

A single printable mesh: sand edges or line the slot in your slicer for light pipes.
