Travel (Absolute)

Move the toolhead to an absolute position (X, Y, Z) without extruding. Use these blocks when you need to jump to a specific coordinate — for example, between path groups or to start a path at a known position.

Blocks

Travel Absolute X, Y, Z
Travel to absolute (X, Y, Z). All three coordinates are set.
Travel Absolute X
Travel to absolute X only. Y and Z stay unchanged.
Travel Absolute Y
Travel to absolute Y only. X and Z stay unchanged.
Travel Absolute Z
Travel to absolute Z only. X and Y stay unchanged.

Example

Interactive preview is available in the interactive reader.

Parameters

X (mm)
Target X position (absolute).
Y (mm)
Target Y position (absolute).
Z (mm)
Target Z position (absolute).

How it works

Each block outputs a G0 (or G1 with no extrusion) move to the given absolute coordinates. The single-axis blocks (X only, Y only, Z only) leave the other axes unchanged. All inputs accept numbers or math expressions. Retraction is handled by the engine when needed for travel moves.
