Dots & Stars
The classic polka dot, reimagined for 3D printing. Dots & Stars stamps a grid of circles (or star bursts, depending on the seed) onto your surface as raised bumps or carved dimples. Simple, versatile, and surprisingly satisfying -- like bubble wrap you designed yourself.

Parameters
Count- Grid density -- more dots packed into the same space. Go high for confetti, low for statement bumps.
Fill- Probability that each grid cell actually gets a dot. At 1.0 every cell is filled; lower values create randomized scatter.
Contrast- Tightens the brightness range. High contrast gives hard-edged dots; low contrast yields softer, ghostly impressions.
Dot Size- Radius of each element. Large dots overlap into a bubbly connected surface.
Blur- Gaussian softening. Turns crisp circles into gentle hillocks.
Seed- Changes which cells get filled and the random variation of each dot. Different seeds can produce star-like shapes.
Resolution- Texture resolution in pixels. Higher resolutions preserve small dot details.
Ratio- Texture aspect ratio. Match your UV layout to keep dots circular rather than egg-shaped.
Depth (mm)- Displacement depth. Positive = raised bumps, negative = carved pits.
Tile U / Tile V- Tile count around (U) and along height (V). Great for wrapping a dense dot field around a cylinder.
Rotation- Rotates the dot grid. A 45° rotation turns rows into diamond packing.
Width Gain- Makes extrusion lines thicker over bright (dotted) areas for extra tactile pop.
Flow Gain- Increases material flow on dots for raised, pillowy bumps.
