Number Series
Generates sequences of numbers based on mathematical patterns. Supports linear (arithmetic), geometric, Fibonacci, prime, even/odd, random, and custom formula modes.

Sockets
Start (in)- Float — starting value of the series.
Step (in)- Float — increment between values (linear, fibonacci, evenOdd).
Count (in)- Int — total number of values to generate.
Numbers (out)- PointArray — generated number series as [value, 0, 0] entries.
Series Types
Linear (Arithmetic)- start + n × step — classic arithmetic progression (1, 3, 5, 7...).
Geometric- start × ratio^n — each term multiplied by ratio (1, 2, 4, 8...).
Fibonacci- F(0)=start, F(1)=start+step, F(n)=F(n-1)+F(n-2) — sum of previous two (1, 1, 2, 3, 5...).
Prime- Prime numbers ≥ start (2, 3, 5, 7, 11...).
Even/Odd- Filters sequence by even or odd parity.
Random- Deterministic random numbers in [Min, Max], seeded for reproducibility.
Formula- Custom mathematical expressions with full programming capabilities.
Parameters
Type- Series mode selector (Linear, Geometric, Fibonacci, Prime, Even/Odd, Random, Formula).
Start Value- First term / seed value. Default: 0.
Count- Number of terms to generate. Default: 10.
Step- Common difference (linear) or F(1) offset (fibonacci). Default: 1.
Ratio- Multiplication factor per term (geometric mode). Default: 2.
Min / Max- Range bounds for random mode. Default: 0 / 100.
Seed- Deterministic seed for random mode. Default: 0.
Parity- Even or Odd filter (evenOdd mode). Default: Even.
f(n)- Custom expression (formula mode). Default: n.
Div/0 Strategy- How to handle divide-by-zero: Large Number, Clamp to 0, or Report Error.
How It Works
- Choose a series type from the Type dropdown.
- Set the starting value and count of numbers to generate.
- Configure type-specific parameters (step for linear, ratio for geometric, expression for formula, etc.).
- Connect inputs or use the settings panel to control values dynamically.
- The generated series appears at the Numbers output as a PointArray.

Variables- n, i (index), count, start, step, t (normalized 0–1).
Constants- PI (3.14159...), E (2.71828...).
Operators- +, -, , /, %, ^ or * (power), ==, !=, <, >, <=, >=, &&, ||, !, ternary (?:).
Functions- sin, cos, tan, asin, acos, atan, atan2, exp, log, log10, log2, sqrt, pow, floor, ceil, round, trunc, sign, abs, min, max.
Formula Examples
Quadratic- n^2 + 2*n + 1 — Squares: 1, 4, 9, 16, 25...
Sine Wave- sin(n PI / count) start — smooth wave from 0 to 0.
Golden Ratio- start * pow((1 + sqrt(5)) / 2, n) — exponential growth using φ.
Damped Oscillation- start exp(-n / count) sin(n * PI / step) — decaying sine wave.
Conditional- (n % 2 === 0) ? start + n step : start - n step — alternating progression.
Linear with Step- start + n * step — standard arithmetic progression.
