Parallel Lines

Straight strokes of constant spacing and length, laid side-by-side. The simplest generator — and the best building block for layered woven patterns once you stack a few filters on top.

Parameters

Parallel Lines parameters

Line Count
How many parallel strokes to generate. Range 1–500, default 50. More lines fill the pattern area densely; fewer lines feel sparse and graphic.
Spacing
Distance between adjacent lines in mm. Range 0.1–20, default 2. Should usually be close to your nozzle line width so adjacent lines fuse into a solid band, or widened for a clearly striped look.
Length
Length of each stroke in mm. Range 10–500, default 200. The pattern is centered, so lines span from -Length/2 to +Length/2 before rotation.
Angle
Rotation of the whole bundle in degrees. Range −180 to 180, default 0 (vertical). Combine with other rotated copies (via the Transform filter) to build grids or moiré effects.
Resolution (pts/line)
Number of sample points per line. Range 2–500, default 100. Only matters when a downstream filter bends the lines — for a pure straight pass you can drop to 2 and save computation.
