Blob Push
Blob Push lays out spherical metaballs on a UV grid so they push the wall outward and blend where they overlap. Neighboring blobs merge into smooth, organic bulges instead of isolated bumps. It is a strong choice for bubbly textures, soft padding, and liquid-like surface relief.

Parameters
Columns- How many blob centers repeat around the circumference (2–50).
Rows- How many horizontal bands of blobs stack along height (1–50).
Push (mm)- Outward displacement strength for each metaball (0–10 mm).
Blob Size- Metaball radius in UV space; larger values increase overlap and merging (0.1–1.5).
Phase- Angular offset of the pattern in radians (0–6.28).
Spiral (°)- Progressive rotation of the grid with height, in degrees (−1800–1800).
How It Works
The effect samples a grid of sphere-like influence fields in surface coordinates. Each field contributes to a combined scalar; the mesh is displaced along the normal where that field is strong, so overlaps sum into one smooth ridge instead of separate domes. Phase and Spiral rotate the sampling pattern around the axis and along height so you can align bumps with seams or wrap them helically.
