Predefined Models
Predefined Models are the fastest way to print something useful in 3dSynth. Pick a parametric part from the built-in registry, adjust its parameters, and export G-code -- no design experience needed.
What It Is
- Model grid -- browse hex adapters, spacers, and threaded fasteners
- Parameter panel -- adjust dimensions, tolerances, and quantity; 3D preview updates live
- Same G-code pipeline -- startup/end scripts, extrusion math, and printer settings shared with all modules
What You Can Build
- Hex Adapters -- Allen key adapters and socket converters with configurable sizes
- Nonplanar Spacers -- flexible, interlocking circular spacers with sinusoidal wave patterns
- Nuts & Bolts -- wing nuts, wing bolts, and threaded tubes with standard metric thread profiles
Your First Print
- Open 3dSynth and select Predefined Models
- Pick a model from the grid (try Nonplanar Spacer for a quick demo)
- Set your printer, nozzle, and material presets in the Print tab
- Adjust parameters in the left dock if needed
- Export G-code and print
