Travel (Relative)
Move the toolhead by a relative offset (dX, dY, dZ) without extruding. Use these blocks when you need to shift position by a known amount — for example, nudging the path or stepping in one axis.
Blocks
Travel Relative X, Y, Z- Travel by offset (dX, dY, dZ). All three offsets are applied.
Travel Relative X- Travel by X offset only.
Travel Relative Y- Travel by Y offset only.
Travel Relative Z- Travel by Z offset only.
Example
Interactive preview is available in the interactive reader.
Parameters
X (mm)- Offset in X (positive = right, negative = left).
Y (mm)- Offset in Y (positive = forward, negative = back).
Z (mm)- Offset in Z (positive = up, negative = down).
How it works
Each block outputs a G0 (or G1 with no extrusion) move by the given offset from the current position. The single-axis blocks apply only one offset. All inputs accept numbers or math expressions. Retraction is handled by the engine when needed for travel moves.
