Zigzag Lattice

Sharp turns, bold angles, zero curves. Zigzag Lattice generates rows of zigzag lines -- the kind of pattern you'd find on a Navajo blanket, Art Deco frieze, or the teeth of a serrated blade. The angular rhythm creates a dynamic, energetic surface that contrasts beautifully with the organic curves of a vase-mode print.

Parameters

Row Count
Number of zigzag rows stacked vertically. Dense rows create an all-over chevron wallpaper; sparse rows leave bold isolated bands.
Fill
Line density within each row. Lower fill creates broken, dashed zigzags; full fill = continuous sawtooth.
Amplitude
How tall the zigzag peaks are. Small amplitude = gentle ripples; large = aggressive shark teeth.
Line Width
Stroke width of each zigzag line. Thin lines feel engraved; thick lines create bold ribbon-like chevrons.
Blur
Softens the sharp zigzag points into smoother transitions. Takes the edge off (literally).
Seed
Randomizes which line segments appear when Fill is below 1.0.
Resolution
Texture resolution in pixels. Sharp corners need reasonable resolution to stay crisp.
Ratio
Aspect ratio of the texture. Stretching changes the zigzag angle.
Depth (mm)
Displacement depth. Positive for raised chevrons, negative for carved zigzag grooves.
Tile U / Tile V
Tiles the zigzag pattern around (U) and along height (V) for seamless angular coverage.
Rotation
Rotates the zigzag orientation. 90° turns horizontal rows into vertical zigzag columns.
Width Gain
Varies extrusion width along the zigzag -- peaks get thicker lines for emphasized points.
Flow Gain
Extra material at zigzag crests for raised, tactile chevron ridges.
