Community Library
The Library is a shared catalog of G-code Sculptor, SynthBlocks, Mesh Sculptor, and Node Sculptor projects. Browse what others published, load an entry into the matching module, and (with Premium) share your own. Fabric Sculpt, Hex Grid, Texturize, Custom G-code, and Predefined Models are not library sections.

Opening the Library
Click the Library button (database icon) in the top toolbar. The Library opens as a resizable panel docked to the right of the screen. There is also a full-page view at /library.
- Resize: Drag the left edge of the panel to make it wider or narrower.
- Close: Click the X button in the panel header.
Sections
Four type filters at the top of the panel choose which published modules you see. Click a filter to toggle it. With none selected, all four sections are listed together.

| G-code Sculptor | Profile-based vase / spiral projects. Most entries load a full project (profile, effects, Print snapshot). Older spline-only entries replace the profile curve. |
| SynthBlocks | Visual block programs. Loading opens SynthBlocks and replaces the workspace. |
| Mesh Sculptor | Parametric mesh projects. Loading restores the Mesh Sculptor design (export is still STL from that module). |
| Node Sculptor | Node graphs. Loading opens Node Sculptor and replaces the graph config. |
Browsing & Filtering
Search
Type in the search bar to filter entries by name or description. The filter updates as you type.
Type filters
Click one or more of the four module pills. Combined with tags, only matching entries remain.
Tags
Each entry can have descriptive tags (e.g. vase, geometric, organic, beginner). Click a tag pill to filter by that tag. Multiple tags require all selected tags to match.
- Click a highlighted tag to deselect it.
- Click Clear to remove tag filters (type filters stay until you clear those too).
Entry Count
The footer shows how many entries match your current filters out of the catalog total (for example "12 of 34 entries").
Loading an Entry
Each entry appears as a card with a thumbnail, name, and tags. Two actions sit on the card:

| Details | Opens a detailed view with images, description, and extra fields. |
When you click Load:
- G-code Sculptor — full project snapshot when present; otherwise the spline only.
- SynthBlocks — replaces the current SynthBlocks workspace (adds the module if needed).
- Mesh Sculptor — replaces the Mesh Sculptor project.
- Node Sculptor — replaces the Node Sculptor graph.
Detail View
Click Details on any card to see a full breakdown:
- Image carousel — Viewport screenshot, optional print photos, and graph or block previews. Use the arrows or swipe.
- Load button — Same as the card’s Load action.
- Download — Where the entry is a full project, download as a
.3dsynthfile. - Description — The author’s notes.
- Tags — All tags on the entry.
- Effects / graph / blocks — Extra fields depend on the section (effect lists, node graph preview, or SynthBlocks preview).
- Printer Settings — When the author stored a Print snapshot (machine, nozzle, layer height, temperatures).
Click the back arrow to return to the grid.
Sharing to the Library
Premium users can publish to the four sections above. Click Share in the Library header. The form uses the active module:
- G-code Sculptor (or another module that is not one of the three below) — G-code Sculptor project snapshot
- SynthBlocks — workspace + block preview
- Mesh Sculptor — mesh project snapshot
- Node Sculptor — graph config + graph preview
Share does nothing when Fabric Sculpt, Hex Grid, or Texturize is active — those modules are not catalog sections.
Upload Form

The viewport screenshot (and block or graph preview when relevant) is captured automatically.
Who Can Share
Sharing requires a Premium license. The app verifies your license key and email before uploading. On desktop, credentials come from the main process; on web, from the stored license.
What Gets Uploaded
- G-code Sculptor — Project snapshot (or spline-only on older share paths), thumbnail, optional print photo, optional printer settings.
- SynthBlocks — Workspace state, workspace version, thumbnail, block preview SVG, optional print photo.
- Mesh Sculptor — Project data, printer settings snapshot, thumbnail, optional print photo.
- Node Sculptor — Graph config, thumbnail, graph preview SVG, optional print photo.
Deleting an Entry
Premium users can delete their own entries. A Delete button appears on cards and in the detail view. Deleting is permanent — a confirmation dialog appears first.
Offline Support
The Library caches the catalog locally. If you lose connectivity:
- An Offline banner appears at the top of the panel (cached data).
- You can still browse and search the cached catalog.
- Loading an individual entry needs a network connection (payloads are fetched on demand).
- Click Retry to reconnect.
The cache refreshes about every hour when online.
