Hexagonal Pyramid
Hexagonal Pyramid tiles the surface with hex cells, each split into six triangular facets meeting at a peak or valley. The look is crystalline and low-poly, with strong directional highlights. Ratio (U:V) corrects stretching so cells read as regular hexagons on your specific UV unwrap.

Parameters
Size- Cell radius in UV space; smaller values pack more pyramids (0.03–0.5).
Ratio (U:V)- Aspect ratio of the hex grid along U versus V to cancel UV stretch (0.2–5).
Depth (mm)- Pyramid height along the normal; negative indents, positive extrudes (−10–10 mm).
Peak Sharpness- Blends from flat triangular facets at 0 toward a more peaked apex at 1 (0–1).
Spiral (°)- Rotates the hex lattice progressively with height (−1800–1800).
How It Works
The modulator subdivides UV space into a hexagonal grid and, inside each cell, displaces vertices toward a center apex using barycentric-style weights over six wedges. Depth sets how far that apex sits off the base plane; Peak Sharpness reshapes the facet interpolation so the tip stays geometric or becomes more needle-like. Knurl Ratio scales V relative to U so printed hexes look equilateral despite mapper stretch.
