Ripple Deformation
Displaces each point radially outward or inward by a sine wave of the distance from the origin — like pond ripples spreading from a dropped stone.

Parameters
Ripple Deformation parameters
Amplitude- Peak radial displacement in mm. Range 0–100, default 10. Positive values push points outward at peaks, inward at troughs.
Frequency- Wave frequency in radians per mm. Range 0.001–0.5, default 0.05. Higher values pack more concentric waves into the pattern.
Phase- Phase offset in radians. Range 0 to 2π, default 0. Shifts the ripple pattern outward or inward without changing its shape.
Displacement formula: each point's polar distance is modulated by Amplitude × sin(dist × Frequency + Phase), then the point is moved along its radial direction (centred on the origin).
Typical use
- Pond-ripple overlays on geometric patterns.
