Radial Lines
Straight lines emanating from a centre point, evenly distributed around a full circle. Spokes. Starbursts. Minimalist sunflower rays.

Parameters
Radial Lines parameters
Line Count- Number of spokes around the circle. Range 3–360, default 36 (one every 10°). High counts approach a filled disc; low counts read as individual rays.
Inner Radius- Distance from centre where each spoke starts, in mm. Range 0–200, default 10. Set to 0 to begin at the exact centre; non-zero values leave a hole in the middle — useful for coasters with cut-outs.
Outer Radius- Distance from centre where each spoke ends, in mm. Range 10–500, default 100. The overall pattern diameter is
2 × Outer Radius. Resolution- Number of sample points along each spoke. Range 2–100, default 10. For straight spokes 2 is enough; bump it if a downstream filter will bend the spokes into curves.
Typical use
- Sun or clock motif — equal
Line Countdivisors of 12 / 24 give clock-style spokes. - Mandala base — combine with a Concentric Curves layer to form a full mandala.
- With
twistfilter — apply Twist Deformation to turn straight spokes into a swirling vortex.
